Saugerties NY is found in the northeast area of Ulster County. Saugerties can be easily access by Exit 20 on the New York State Thruway. It is located at the foot of the Catskill Mountains, on the western banks of the Hudson River and on the Esopus Creek as it empties into the Hudson. There is both a Village of Saugerties and Town of Saugerties.
